About
Feeding Crows Tech is a DIY tech lab for small, self-reliant tools — especially for people who want to understand and build the systems they depend on.
We help individuals and small organizations use AI to unlock tools once out of reach — from web servers and databases to acoustic sensors and local-first LLMs.
Feeding Crows is run by Chuck Hennet from a farm in northeastern Pennsylvania, our projects span Raspberry Pi monitoring, semantic search, and open-source infrastructure. Some are experimental. Others solve real problems. All are shared openly to help you do more with what you have.
This is a test bed, not a product — a space where tools are built, broken, and refined in the open.
If you’re a tinkerer, a nonprofit, a field researcher, or just someone tired of bloated SaaS and black-box AI, welcome. You’re in the right place.
